It is hard to get 'outside...You are too funny! It is hard to get 'outside the box' - sometimes you just have to go and do the norm - you could have saved those bits for another project and just used something else for the back. It should be fun, and when you stress, the fun is gone. I save my 'uglies' for wallhangings - you're not gonna' see it afterall - and the stress is gone. Save the extra piecing backs for a quilt.
