trying triangles

I am getting over my fear of triangles and all those pointy bits!
Really...not as hard as I thought! :)

My colour favourite this week is navy and lime green! So pretty.

 And this is just a preliminary layout on the "design floor". It is my attempt at RANDOM!! Think it needs a few more hours of random tweaking! (I still have some issues with random LOL)

    I agree - leave it as it is - you don't rearrange random, you go with the flo(w) - sorry, couldn't resist.

    Looks good to me too.... some times random / scrappy quilts can take the longest to lay out on the design floor. taking a picture,stepping back or even looking through a reducing glass or that peep hole for the door thingy works. I think you should just go for it too.

    Yes, random is difficult for me too. But I think you layout is terrific. I love the colours, so pretty.

    this is really nice. It looks as though you have it very well balanced and the colors are very pleasing together. I'm working on a 320/ 4.5 " hst quilt and the layout is laying me out !

    Lovin' this, Flo! These are favourite colours of mine, too, even though they match absolutely NOTHING in my own home! What's that about??!! Is it time to redecorate?

    I love the colour combination too! My random quilts are usually a little "studied" in their randomness too, lol! Keep having fun!
