Leap Day Giveaway Blog Hop!



.....except in leap year, which comes once in four....then it has one day more!!

Yes, it is leap year...and it is Leap Day!! And it is time for the Leap Day Giveaway Blog Hop!!


So...what have I got for you.... I want to give away one of these handy thread catchers...

I love using mine. It sits beside my machine, or when I am hand stitching it sits on the arm of my couch. I love it! Hope you do too.

So here is the scoop:

  2. Oh, I'd love to have one of this. I keep thinking to make one but never get to it.
    Well there is one thing I'm going to do tomorrow: I was told today that here in Ireland it is tradition that women can propose on a leap day, so that's what I'm going to do. We've been always talking about it and nothing happens, so I'm going to take the lead here!

  22. I am LEAPing to get some dolls I promised my son's kinder done. They are looking at dolls this year and I need to sew 40 dolls so each child can stuff, decorate and design their own doll. I am up to number 29 and still need to cut them all out. Thankfully they aren't that complicated and I don't need to turn them.

  47. I've been too ill to sew much for the last 2.5 weeks, but am finally starting to feel better, so I hope to use tomorrow to finish quilting & bind a rainbow chevron stripes throw-size quilt.   51. I have never heard of a thread catcher before, and now that I have, I wonder what i have been doing without one. My sewing room has a carpet and it's such a pain to sweep off the thread bits off the floor, uuugh. I would love to win your giveaway. I am leaping the year at work.

  70. Thanks for the giveaway.... I love the thread catchers... I use one for throwing snips of fabric in to save for a friend that makes pillows for kittys at an animal shelter. I plan to work on my postage stamp quilt today.

  121. I finished out leap day by finishing the binding on a quilt for our bed! The pincushion/thread catcher, is just what I need. I love the fabric, it is so much nicer than a paper bag!
