Time to check in again with The Needle and Thread Network..
And Work in Progress over at Freshly Pieced..
Here is what I have been up to last week.
We had such a great time when we visited Charlotte NC. a while back. I met a friend to explore quilt shops with, and went to a workshop put on by the Charlotte Quilt Guild. They were so friendly and welcoming!! And I came home with some material for a really cute quilt...something to remember my trip!
The fabric is all about the colors I love! Sort of reminds me of Tuscany! I can just see me with a glass of wine and a good book out on the Tuscan patio!
And I used a quick pattern that they gave to me when I was there. So I have the top done...and on to the quilting..

I love the colours! And, I love quick patterns. They are like instant gratification for quilts :)
ReplyDeleteThe colours are gorgeous. Love your sewing machine too!
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern, it looks fancier than my default quick magic 9-patch. And you certainly don't let your fabric get old!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt! I love simple patterns that let the fabrics take center stage :D
ReplyDeleteGreat colors....and quick is good for me too....I love to see things move right along!!
ReplyDeletelovely colours!
ReplyDeleteIsn;t that yellow prairie grass flower fabric terrific! Like Sheila said, simple patterns let the fabric take center stage - it certainly showcases this bundle.
ReplyDeleteOh, do I ever love your fabrics Flo! And the quilt pattern looks great with them.
ReplyDeleteI do like yellow paired with red. Lovely keepsake.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely does have a Mediterranean look to it. Quick quilt patterns are such time savers! =D
ReplyDeleteThat pattern looks interesting and i really like those colours - that buttery yellow looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteImpressive sewing there, and so quick (it seems). I have a French quilt, but no Italian quilt. I'd better follow in your footsteps and get going!
