Well....I have passed another milestone!
The 200 follower milestone!
Wow! I am so amazed! And I absolutely want to thank all of my followers! I really do appreciate you dropping by to visit! And even more so, when you leave a comment to say hello!
It is truly amazing to have a community of "friends" to offer opinions, encouragement, ideas, inspiration and suggestions! I have learned so much, and value the welcoming world of blogland friendships!
So....to show my appreciation...I thought I would have a little give-away! I bought myself one of these Hera Markers...and bought an extra one for one of my lucky followers.
So to enter...yes, you must be a follower...and leave me a comment telling me what your favourite quilting tool or gadget is. I haven't used this Hera marker much yet, so really cant comment on it, but have read good things about it.
Give away will close next Sunday, Sept 2..(one week), and I will announce the winner on Monday Sept 3 (which is actually a stat holiday here in Canada) ! Good luck!

Congratulations! I really like my Shape Cut Ruler. It makes cutting strips so much faster. Thanks for the giveaway and I am a follower.
ReplyDeleteHere is a Whoop, Whoop, Congratulations on 200 Followers. FYI---I officially changed my blog name to American Vintage Quilts, blogger said it might be a couple more days until the URLs connect, will post when that becomes official. The name fits my style of quilting better but the blog will remain the same.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Flo!! How super and so excited for you. (Don't enter me in the give away as I have two of these already.)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your large following. My favorite tool? The rotary cutter - when I started quilting I had to cut everything with scissors, now it's a breeze.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite tool is my seam ripper!
My favorite tool right now is the little red Wonder Clips. They are wonderful for English Paper Piecing. Congratulations on your blog milestone from one of your happy followers! Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteRight on Flo! Gee that didn't take long : )
ReplyDeleteFavorite tool... besides the machine itself? I love my machine. hmm... the Ott Light. Does that count? and my hoop stand for hand embroidery. That rocks.
Congrats on 200 followers, Flo. Great achievement. Thanks for the opportunity on the draw. I think my favourite tool has got to be my handy dandy seam ripper. it gets used a lot, but probably not as much as it should.....

I always check your blog but had never signed up! Just did it!
ReplyDeleteI've really wanted one of those hera markers to try. I'm new to quilting so all the tools are rather new to me. My newly discovered favourites as of this week while I've been trimming hst's has been my rotating cutting mat and a ruler with several grid lines embedded in it that makes it easy to trim two sides at once ... accurately. You just run your rotary cutter through the slots. So much easier than using the small square ruler that I started with before remembering I'd picked up the hst tool thingie once upon a time and had never used it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I'm a follower.
I have to say that my fav gadget is the clover white handled seam ripper...not because I like unsewing but it is such an awesome tool and makes it easier. Debbie s.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My favorite tool is my .... Hmmm? I don't know. Although I do prefer a non-slid ruler over a regular kind so I guess I have a favorite. What is your favorite quilting tool?
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower!
