I am kind of hoping that by actually admitting to the unfinished quilts I have here, I will be prompted to get something finished !! That is my goal today, to finish up something...sounds easy right??
Here is some of the things I can choose from:
"Celebration"... it is for a wedding gift in June...better get the binding and label finished!
"Kiss the Frog"..another gift for a wedding in June....still have to quilt the borders and add the binding and label..
"Daydream"....mmmm ..I remember this one...I started it in the winter when I needed something bright and cheery!!
"Java"....yes, another one that sort of stalled after I got the blocks finished...
and of course I could always start something new...I am excited to see how this kit works out!
(OK, I will finish at least one thing first...promise !!)
But before I do, I am going to visit Lee at Freshly Pieced to see what everyone else is up to on Work in Progress Wednesday!

Great way to account for finish needs. Love the site for WIP encouragement. Oh, I couldn't do this as there is a PILE and as one is done, I already have 2-3 more added.
ReplyDeleteI remember Daydream! I'm anxious to see that one done...but wedding dates are coming up fast! Good luck!

Some UFO's just need to be aged a little before they become quilts. these will all be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove your red, blue and yellow quilt, finish that one, cause it is so nice. The colors really appeal to me. I like the other ones too. June is just around the corner, gee whiz time goes fast.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome projects. I love the first one, especially.

Loving the Daydream especially!
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm a fellow quilter who totally understands about not completing quilts one at a time! I am just finishing up #13 quilt top left unfinished for months. I decided to finish all 13 before starting another fun project and it's been so hard not to stop and make another top! I just love the piecing and applique work, but don't particularly like to quilt or bind (lol. I've been posting about each one on my blog as I get it finished and griping about wanting to do something more fun!
ReplyDeleteI really want to see your Figtree quilt when you get it done!
Love Celebration! Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteHey - the Daydream design would work well for a grouping of fabrics I pulled from my stash and have been trying to figure out what to do with. . .
ReplyDeleteJava! Oooo i like those colors so much!
