Flood Watch

My daughter lives in Calgary. She was evacuated last night from her apartment, so she is safe and dry ...with her puppy, Zoe.
We have heard nothing yet about how much damage or flooding there was in her apartment, she is at below ground level, so is very likely under water.
This a a picture of the Calgary Stampede grounds, which is just across the river from where she lives.

  1. So glad your daughter and her pup got out safe! That's soooo much water. We are having another drought in Texas. It always seems to be feast or famine.

  2. This is scary and glad your daughter is safe - things can be replaced, but not loved ones.

  3. Glad your daughter and puppy are safe. It's so crazy! I never think flooding when I think of Calgary but there it is. Insurance companies are going to be busy, yikes! Sending positive thoughts to you and your daughter.

  5. Yes, it's been scary here in Calgary. My daughter drove by the Stampede grounds on Thursday and by Friday it was underwater. How quickly it changed. I'm so glad your daughter is safe. Hugs to you both.
